IG HEIMATFORSCHUNG RHEINLAND-PFALZ
Is a team of volunteers and historians, a community of interests, who undertake local research in the history of the German Palatinate from prehistory to the Second World War, in close cooperation with local governmental authorities and institutions. This page highlights the work of one such Team led by Herr Erik Wieman, whereby the team concentrates on locating the sites of crashed allied aircraft during the Second World War. This work dovetails perfectly with the equally important task of the Volksbund, in locating missing German personnel from WWII, that is carried out on behalf of the greater German People, nationwide and worldwide.
